Young Adults Adoration, Mass & Barbecue
Young Adults ages 18-35 are invited to Our Ladye Star of The Sea in Greenwich for a young adults Adoration, Mass and Barbecue. Adoration of the Holy Eucharist will begin at 6pm, followed by mass at 7pm and a barbecue in the presbytery at 7:45pm. As always, all attendees are welcome to invited friends be they of any faith or none. We hope these socials will be a great way to invite the curious to explore the Catholic faith.

Join us for the SVP Volunteers Meeting at 7pm in the Parish Office at Sacred Heart Church. All are welcome.

Connect Group Meeting: Be Still
The Connect group is for anyone who has done Alpha or is curious, to connect monthly with each other and with God and to learn more about our Faith. Deacon Andrew will lead the next meeting on Thursday 3rd September, beginning a series of films about finding stillness and silence, called βBe Stillβ.

First Fridays Reflections
First Friday reflections resume on Friday, 4 September from 1:45pm to 2:45pm in the Campion Room at 114 Mount Street. Join us briefly for prayer and reflection through poetry, Scripture, and art. Booking is not necessary, but registering will get you reminders and follow-up emails. Register at the link in the RSVP tab.

March for Life: Pre-March Party
Join us for the official Pre-March for Life Party! Kick off the weekend with an evening of food, drinks, music, and conversation alongside fellow pro-life advocates from across the country. Hosted by Abortion Resistance and the Alliance of Pro-Life Students, this event is a chance to meet new people, reconnect with friends, and build momentum ahead of the March for Life. πΉ Open bar until 9 PM π½ Pizza provided Tickets are limited, so be sure to secure yours early. Life in the Spirit Seminar 2026
Join Fountain of Life Catholic Charismatic Renewal for the Life in the Spirit Seminar, a journey designed to help us deepen our relationship with God, experience the Holy Spirit more fully, and discover the spiritual gifts He has given us. The seminar runs every Friday from 14 August to 16 October 2026, with evenings centred on growing in faith and living more fully in the Spirit. Sessions run from 6:45pm to 9:00pm, with an extended session from 8:00pm to midnight on the last Friday of each month. Come and be renewed. Come and be empowered. Come and live in the Spirit.

Living Flame
Living Flame is a weekly talk and social hosted by the Discalced Carmelites. Topics we cover include the Carmelite charism, scripture, the works of the saints, and more. Every week, we aim to deliver information that you can carry with you in your real life as well as friendship and community. All are welcome.

Oratory Pilgrimage to Walsingham
The annual Joint Oratories Pilgrimage to Walsingham will be on Saturday 5th September. A coach will leave from outside the Victoria & Albert Museum at 8.45am sharp. Please bring a packed lunch. At the Shrine, there will be a Sung Mass (Latin) at 2.00pm, followed by a Procession to the Abbey Grounds. Coach tickets are now available from Oratory House, at Β£40 per adult (children Β£10). Please note that the coach journey is approximately 3 hours in each direction.

Fatima Devotion
Join us to pray the Rosary for sins against the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the first Saturday of each month.

Parish Celebration Party
Join us for a parish celebration bringing together our communities to give thanks for all the people who contribute to parish life, from ministries and prayer to social activities, outreach and the many things that happen behind the scenes. Food and drinks will be provided, and you're very welcome to bring a plate of something to share. Please let the parish office know by 20 August how many people from your family will be attending.
