About This Event
Are we seeing a return of devotion to Mary as a figure who can unite Christians? Join us for the Rosary Shrine Lecture 2026, as Swedish Christian author and former Protestant pastor Ulf Ekman explores the role of Mary in the Churches today, taking inspiration from Anders Widoff’s sculpture Maria (The Return) in Uppsala Cathedral. Ekman founded and led a large Protestant church in Sweden for three decades before being received into the Catholic Church with his wife Birgitta in 2014. Revd Ewan King, pastor of Heath Street Baptist Church, will give a response to the lecture. The evening will conclude with a reception in the parish hall.
