A lot of people will say this in conversation as a "middle point" between abandoning our faith and living it out to the fullest. This enlightening talk by Peter Williams helps to address that phrase from a Catholic perspective. Join us this for an engaging talk that tackles one of the most common ideas among young Christians today. Why does the Church matter? How do scripture and tradition answer the question? This is a part of our series titled: 'How to defend our Faith' which a series of talks and socials tackling big questions about Catholic faith and modern life. Each week dives into a different theme: from “Modern Science has disproved God” and “Christ was just a good moral teacher” to “The Bible is full of contradictions” and “You don’t need the Church to follow Jesus.” Alongside these, we’ll have adoration nights, socials, and community meals. It’s an open space to explore, question, and strengthen your faith together.
