The Bible Timeline Course: Session 6

About This Event

This week’s session brings us to one of the most sobering parts of salvation history: the Divided Kingdom and the Exile. We encourage you to do the pre-read attached in the files section to get the most out of the session. After Solomon’s reign, Israel splits into two kingdoms, and both turn away from God despite repeated prophetic warnings. Eventually, exile comes, yet even in judgment, God’s mercy never fades. Represented in Black and Blue on the Bible Timeline chart, these periods from 930-528 BC depict Israel's darkest period and Judah singing the blues in Babylon respectively and remind us that God’s faithfulness endures even when His people are scattered. The course is led by Mauro Iannicelli from Come and See, a UK-based Catholic ministry helping thousands rediscover the beauty of Scripture and their faith. More than 1,000 people are currently taking part in the same course this year, journeying together through the story of salvation. Come ready to encounter the God who still calls us today, just as He called Abraham. Our weekly events follow the same schedule: 🕖 7:00 PM – Adoration 🍪 7:40 PM – Tea & biscuits (last entrance – no exceptions) 📘 8:00 PM – Talk on Spirituality 🍻 9:15 PM – Pub!
