The Bible Timeline Course: Session 5

About This Event

This session takes us into the Conquest & Judges and Royal Kingdom periods of the Bible Timeline. We encourage you to do the pre-read attached in the files section to get the most out of the session. We’ll see how Joshua leads God’s people into the Promised Land and how, after his death, the cycle of sin and deliverance begins under the Judges. Then comes the rise of the monarchy through Saul, David, and Solomon, as God’s promises take royal form. Represented in Green and Purple, these periods from 1406-930 BC depict the green hills of Canaan and the colour of royalty respectively. With Mauro's insight and the Come and See course materials, we’ll reflect on how God works through imperfect people to accomplish His perfect plan. The course is led by Mauro Iannicelli from Come and See, a UK-based Catholic ministry helping thousands rediscover the beauty of Scripture and their faith. More than 1,000 people are currently taking part in the same course this year, journeying together through the story of salvation.
