The seven sacraments are a defining feature of our lives as Catholics, shaping the different roles we all play in the Church, both priest and lay. But what does it actually mean to be a Sacrament? Join Dr John Moffatt SJ, Dean of the Heythrop Institute, as we explore some of the different uses of the word in history, and see how the idea of sacramentality can enrich our reflection on embodied life in God's Creation. Soft drinks will be available from 6.30pm onwards, please bring something to eat and share. The talk starts at 7pm. MAGIS-metro is a weekly program from Jesuit Young Adult Ministries that brings together young adults 18 to 35.
