Second Saturday Walk: Tring → Hemel Hempstead
About This Event
Join us for a 13km walk along the Grand Union canal from Tring to Hemel Hempstead. It is a flat walk, ideal for beginners with opportunity to visit the ruins of Berkhamsted Castle on the way. We will catch the 10.35 train from London Euston to Tring. We'll finish in Hemel Hempstead with a well-earned drink at a pub. We will be back to London by 6pm. Please buy your own train ticket. You will need a single ticket from London to Tring, and a further single ticket from Hemel Hempstead to London. Please bring a packed lunch and water and ensure you wear suitable footwear. In the event of train cancellations or extreme weather, we may occasionally need to change plans at short notice.
