Saints, Souls & Halloween: What Catholics Believe , followed by Pub Social
About This Event
What does Halloween mean in the context of our Catholic faith? Join us for an engaging evening as we explore the connection between Halloween, the Solemnity of All Saints, and All Souls’ Day. We’ll begin with an introduction to the topic, followed by a Kahoot quiz to test our knowledge of Halloween and Catholic teaching. We’ll then watch a video exploring the Catholic perspective on Halloween, its traditions, and how we can approach them in the light of our faith. The evening will conclude with an open discussion, with the potential presence of Fr Andrew, giving us an opportunity to ask questions, share perspectives, and deepen our understanding. Come along for an evening of learning, fellowship, and meaningful discussion as we discover how we can honour the saints, pray for the faithful departed, and live out our Catholic faith in everyday life. Everyone is welcome!
