Quarant’Ore / 40 Hours Devotions - London Eucharistic Octave

About This Event

On Thursday 4th June at 6:30pm, the 40 Hours Devotion at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Maiden Lane, Covent Garden, will open with a Solemn Sung Mass on the traditional feast of Corpus Christi. The Church will remain open until midnight, with the Blessed Sacrament exposed for Adoration. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed again from 7:00am until midnight on Friday 5th June. There will be a celebration of Mass in the Ordinariate Use of the Roman Rite at 6:30pm. The Blessed Sacrament will be re-exposed at 7am on Saturday 6th June and the 40 Hours will come to a close with a Solemn Sung Mass in the Ordinary Form at 6:00pm - the Vigil of Corpus Christi. The Feast of Corpus Christi itself will be celebrated on Sunday 7th June at 11am, with a Procession of the Blessed Sacrament.
