The talk will be led by Sr. Mary Magdalene Eitenmiller, O.P., a Dominican sister of the English Congregation of St. Catherine of Siena (Cambridge, U.K.). Holding a doctorate in dogmatic theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum), she specialises in the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas and currently lectures at Blackfriars Studium (Oxford) and Allen Hall Seminary (London). Rooted in Sacred Scripture and upheld by the Catholic Church, this talk explores the doctrine that Mary remained a virgin before, during, and after the birth of Christ. Sr. Magdalene will guide us through its biblical and theological foundations, revealing how Mary’s life reflects total surrender, purity, and trust in God. Drawing from the wisdom of Aquinas, she will also show how theology is not just study, but a path to deeper union with God and a stronger faith.
