About This Event
Join Pax Christi for a vigil outside Westminster Cathedral to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima. Let's pray and remember together. On Sunday, 9th August, 4pm, there will be an Ecumenical service at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Cheyne Row, SW3 5HS, followed by a peace walk to the Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park. At 6pm, there will be a Nagasaki commemoration ceremony at the Peace Pagoda. Please join us to remember those who lost their lives in Hiroshima and Nagasaki as well as all those affected by the use or threat of nuclear weapons.
