Today in the Canon Wright room, we are continuing our journey through the Rosary with the Sorrowful Mysteries. This week focuses on the moment Jesus loves us to the end and even gives us His mother as our own. We will sit with five scenes from the passion: • Jesus in the Garden choosing the Father’s will even through fear and anguish • Jesus scourged though innocent letting His wounds speak mercy for us • Jesus crowned with thorns showing a kingship that serves rather than dominates • Jesus carrying His cross walking the hardest road with us in mind • Jesus on the Cross looking at Mary and the beloved disciple and saying here is your mother Together we will explore themes of surrender, human weakness, sacrificial love, and the gift of Mary as the mother of every disciple. There will be time for silence, reflection, and real talk about how these moments shape our lives today. Download the lectio reading below ahead of the session to avoid wasteful printing. Also don’t forget to join the community to know when we post new events! Whether you came to our launch or you’re brand new, this is the perfect time to jump in and be part of a growing community of young adults (18–40) living, working, and studying in the East End.
