Join us for a day of prayer, pilgrimage, and fellowship as we commemorate the Franciscan Year of Grace. We’ll begin with Mass at St Francis of Assisi Church in Stratford before setting out on a walk through parts of Epping Forest and Wanstead Flats, ending at St Thomas of Canterbury Church in Woodford. This special year offers the opportunity to obtain a plenary indulgence by visiting a Franciscan church and fulfilling the usual conditions. Along the way there will be plenty of opportunities to stop for refreshments, and the route remains close to public transport for anyone needing a shorter walk. Come and enjoy a day of prayer, conversation, and time outdoors together.
