"If you are not a classical music aficionado or can not afford it ... ...then this concert is for you! No matter your background, knowledge of classical music, age, religion, you (and your children from the age of 0) are all welcome. Tickets are free. If you are an avid concert -goer and a classical music lover ... . . . then, this concert is also for you ! Distinguishing themselves in various international competitions and festivals for several years (Best Contemporary Interpretation Prize at the BANFF International String Quartet Competition 2022, Audience Prize at the Steels-Wilsing Competition 2020, and in the Verbier Festival 2019), the Quatuor Agate achieved a significant milestone in 2021 by becoming Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) artists in London. They have since become regular performers at London's Wigmore Hall. Chosen as an ECHO Rising Stars ensemble in 2024, they embarked on a tour of Europe's major concert halls for the 24/25 season. Lauded for their musicality and refreshing interpretations, the quartet performed internationally in 2026 with series of concerts in the USA, China, Germany and France. After these well acclaimed tours, on the 19th of September 2026, the quartet is giving a one-off unique concert in aid of our soup kitchen. We will be treated to a unique opportunity to hear a couple of pieces from their repertoire. Concert is free, if you can, donations in aid of Notre Dame de France's homeless soup kitchen ('Sandwich Service') are very much welcomed and encouraged."
