As Catholics, we are steeped in poetry every day of our lives - from the Psalms and Scripture to the prayer-poems of the saints. Poet Sally Read explores how poetry is God's chosen language, helping us hear His voice and give expression to our own experience of Him through the writings of Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross, Ephrem, Thomas Merton, and George Herbert.
