Provisional itinerary for the Broadstairs walk šļø Saturday August 22nd ā°8.10 - Meet at London St Pancras train station to buy group tickets. ā°8.40 train to Broadstairs, gets in at 10.03 (Or a 7:40 train, for arrival just after 9am for early birds to enjoy more beach time/ breakfast in B'stairs.) Head to sea-front after arriving, the beach is a 10/15 walk away. Jo can give a quick 'tour'/walk (20-30 mins max) Small walk around the Dickens Museum & Bleak House. 'Free time' (2.5/3 hours or so) Meet again at 1:45- leave at 2. 45-min-1hr beach walk to Ramsgate beach (& to the Wetherspoons pub on the beach, with roof- top bar for lunch/ dinner. Option of harbour walk (incl historical 'Sailor's church' on harbour) Walk back along beach OR walk along the cliff-tops OR bus back to Broadstairs beach (depending on whether some want to walk again or just get t bus back & just chill on Broadstairs beach) Then free to play on the beach! / dip in the sea šš Option of meeting for an evening meal/drink (more info to follow), and then walk to Broadstairs station for the train back š
