Outline of the day The Joyful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary will be prayed at 11.00am in the Chapel of Reconciliation. Confessions will be heard before and after Holy Mass until 3.05pm, subject to the availability of confessors. The Relic Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be present for veneration throughout the day (except during the midday Mass) The pilgrimage starts at 12.00 noon with the Angelus and Holy Mass. (Mass leaflet available in the Chapel) Bishop Peter Collins is the main celebrant, with priests of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal concelebrating. After Holy Mass there is time for lunch, At 2.00pm Eucharistic Adoration will begin in the Chapel with Stations of the Cross taking place outside in the grounds. At 2.30pm the Divine Mercy Chaplet, the Litany of Life and Benediction, will take place in the Chapel, concluding by 3.05pm. (At this point, pilgrims unable to walk the Pilgrim Way should return to the coaches ready for departure at 3.15pm to the village coach park. All other pilgrims should gather in the outside seating area) At 3.15pm we pray the first three Sorrowful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary outside the Chapel, in the presence of the statue of Our Lady of Walsingham. We then make our way along the Pilgrim Way to the Abbey grounds in the village. This silent walk, an Act of Reparation, is central to the pilgrimage, when we offer reparation for the sins against life in union with the Passion of Our Lord. Pilgrims are strongly encouraged to approach this time as a prayerful walk with Jesus to Calvary. The last two Sorrowful Mysteries will be prayed at the site of the Holy House in the Abbey grounds, followed by the Prayer for England and the Salve Regina to close the pilgrimage. Please leave the Abbey grounds by 4.30pm to make your way to the coach park. Coaches must leave the village at 5pm. Pilgrims joining online will be able to participate in all that takes place at the Shrine through the livestream facility.
