Once-a-Month Culture Club

About This Event

Write for Life Academy welcomes you to this month's culture club. Whether you have read the novel of focus or not, this session will inspire and embolden you. As the culture of death is ever against us, here you will find a community of like-minded creatives. Taking up the powerful medium of art and creative collaboration together we can be reawakened in our sense of mission to bring to light the gift of life. The Last Midwife by Karen Lawrence is a page-turning dystopian thriller set in an England with a one-child policy, where the shadowy figure of the Defender controls every aspect of birth and death. The novel tackles a number of important pro-life themes including population control, forced sterilisation and abortion, euthanasia, and sex selective abortion. The book is available via Amazon and other good sellers in print, digital ebook and also now a fantastic new audiobook version, read by actress Charlie Sanderson. The second half of the session will be led by author Natasha Collins discussing how she ran a successful book club session on the Last Midwife, with invaluable advice for pro-lifers on how to run such an event themselves.
