DYA Study Day - Dragons, Beasts, & Visions: Understanding Biblical Apocalyptic Biblical texts such as the prophet Daniel, the book of Revelation, and sections of Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Zechariah all fall under the category of ‘Apocalyptic’. They are among the hardest texts in Bible, full of baffling imagery and extraordinary visions. Why are these books so strange? How are we supposed to interpret all the images and symbols? How can they inform the life of a Christian in the 21st century and do they speak in any way to our modern world? The day will include Mass, talks, prayer, fellowship, and discussion, and lunch will be provided. Email dya@english.op.org for more info.
