About This Event

There are moments in life when you have to stop running and ask a hard question: What is God really asking of me? This weekend is built around that moment. Inspired by the experience of St. Francis at Spoleto, where he turned away from his own plans to follow something greater, this Come and See weekend is a space to step back, be honest, and listen. You won’t be given ready-made answers. You’ll be given space. Space to pray. Space to think. Space to see what this life actually looks like from the inside. Over the weekend, you will share in the daily life of the Capuchin friars, joining them in prayer, the Divine Office, Eucharistic Adoration, and Mass. There will be input sessions, personal conversations, and time for silence, not constant activity. You’ll meet friars who are living this life, not talking about it in theory. You’ll hear their stories, ask your questions, and see the reality, both the beauty and the challenge. This is not about convincing you to join. It’s about helping you discern clearly. If you’re serious about your vocation, even if you’re unsure, even if you’re wrestling with doubts, this weekend is for you. Come and see.
