Benedictine Nuns of Minster Abbey Discernment Retreat August 2026
About This Event
Monastic life is one of listening; in the silence, in the liturgy and in community life, to the "still small voice" of the Lord. The Benedictine Nuns of Minster Abbey believe in the beauty and richness of a life of prayer, especially at this time in the Church and in our world. That is why they are offering young women the opportunity to attend a discernment retreat, to give them a 'taster' of the monastic life. There will be three retreats across the year (27-29 March, 7-9 August, 9-11 October). To register, please email Sister Walburga minstervocations@gmail.com. Please pray for vocations to the Benedictine Nuns of Minster Abbey community, and for young women who are discerning.
